High school baseball result: Beaufort vs. Pinewood Prep

Pinewood Prep 9, Beaufort 4: A pair of four-run innings by Pinewood proved too much for the Eagles to overcome at the Hanahan Invitational Tournament.

Though both teams wound up with eight hits, the Panthers managed to cluster their together to score four times in both the first and sixth innings.

Rome Wallace and Cooper Woods had two hits apiece for Beaufort, while Wade Olivarri and Jeffrey Smyth stroked RBI singles.
