High school baseball result: Beaufort vs. Cane Bay

Cane Bay 10, Beaufort 1: The Eagles were held to six hits by Cane Bay’s John Sendziak, suffering their third straight loss after starting the season 10-0.

Cane Bay scored in every inning, using a two-run fourth to forge a 5-0 lead and erupting for five more runs in the fifth.

The Eagles scored their lone run in the fifth, when Connor Clancy singled and eventually came around to score on Wade Olivarri’s groundout. Olivarri and Micheal Smyth each had two Beaufort hits.
