High school tennis result: Beaufort vs. Colleton County

Beaufort 6, Colleton County 0: Paul Winland and Brian Rhatigan prevailed in three-set encounters as the Eagles remained unbeaten in region play.

Winland outdueled the Cougars’ Trey Bowman in No.1 singles before scoring a 7-6 (7-5), 1-6, 10-7 triumph. Rhatigan, meantime, recovered from a first-set loss to win a 10-8 tiebreaker against Adam Buckner.

Ben Straut, Ian Hogenboom and Thomas Gnann were straight-sets winners in singles, while Bodie Daniel/Mitchell Dixson cruised in doubles.
