High school baseball result: Beaufort vs. Berkeley

Berkeley 13, Beaufort 4: Two Berkeley pitchers held the Eagles in check, handing Beaufort only its second loss of the season.

Wade Olivarri’s RBI double and a run-scoring groundout allowed Beaufort to tie the game 4-4 in the fourth, but Berkeley erupted for five runs in the bottom of the inning against Drew Luckey and the Eagles didn’t manage another hit.

Jeffrey Smyth’s two-run double in the third had given the Eagles an early lead.
