High school baseball result: Battery Creek at Ridgeland-Hardeeville

Battery Creek 8, Ridgeland-Hardeeville 4: Trent Thompson doubled twice and scored two runs as the Dolphins pulled away to victory in the latter innings.

Battery Creek broke a 2-2 tie with three runs in the fifth, taking advantage of three Ridgeland-Hardeeville errors, and added an insurance run in the sixth when Dallas Higuet scored on a wild pitch.

Kam Waddy’s three-run homer in the third provided most of the Jaguars’ offense.
