High school baseball result: Battery Creek at May River

May River 11, Battery Creek 2: John Patterson doubled, tripled and accounted for four runs as the Sharks cruised to victory.

Patterson’s two-run triple highlighted a six-run second inning for May River, scoring two runs himself on the evening. He finished with three hits, while Vance Summers, Cooper George, Chase Murray and Kamryn Gleason had two apiece.

Three May River pitchers combined to scatter six Battery Creek hits, with Josh Reddy going four innings for the win.
