High school soccer result: Beaufort girls vs. Berkeley

Beaufort falls in PKs: Berkeley converted all five of its penalty kicks in a shootout, snatching the victory from the Eagles after the teams tied 2-2 in regulation and couldn’t reach a result in extra time.

Heily Hernandez scored one Beaufort goal and assisted on Christina Dore’s tally, helping to send the game into extra time. Goalkeeper Maddie Brace made five saves in regulation, but couldn’t come up with the key stop needed in the shootout.
