Hilton Head Christian 9, Colleton Prep 2: Dargan Cherry drove home three Eagles runs and John Burke gave up just hit after the first inning.

Colleton Prep strung together three hits in grabbing a 2-0 lead in the first, before Burke found his rhythm. A third-inning single was the only other hit he allowed, facing just one batter over the minimum over the final six innings.

John Blackshire collected three hits of HHCA’s 12 hits, while Cherry, J.D. Monts and Zachary Whitton had two apiece.
