High school softball result: Thomas Heyward vs. Northwood Academy

Thomas Heyward 11, Northwood Academy 1: Cheyenne Strong struck out 12 batters over five innings, and the Rebels set the tone with a 10-run first inning.

Thomas Heyward put runners in scoring position in each of the next four innings, too, but couldn't push across another run until the sixth when Danielle Dudley's RBI single ended it.

Dudley was one of four Rebels with two hits on the evening, joined by Hannah Cannon, Alayna DeLong and Ivy Bryan.
