High school tennis result: Beaufort boys vs. Berkeley

Beaufort 5, Berkeley 1: Chris Hoogenboom didn’t surrender a game and the doubles tandem of Paul Winland and Ben Straut lost only one as the Eagles recorded five straight-sets victories.

No.1 singles Mitchell Russell had the toughest path to victory, winning 6-2, 6-2 over Berkeley’s Hugh Huxford. Griffin Stone and Merritt Patterson also won their singles matches.
