High school baseball result: John Paul II vs. St. John’s Christian

JP2 sweeps doubleheader: Thomas Kender drove home five runs with a double and triple, powering John Paul II to a 17-3 romp over St. John’s Christian that set the tone for a Golden Warriors sweep.

Josh Horton’s home run highlighted more offensive fireworks in the second game, as JP2 cruised to a 14-1 victory. Adrian Skipper and Jack Jolley were the day’s winning pitchers.
