High school baseball result: Beaufort vs. Colleton County

Beaufort 8, Colleton County 4: Rome Wallace’s two-run triple capped a three-run sixth inning that put the Eagles ahead for a good in a back-and-forth affair.

Beaufort had taken a 5-4 lead with three runs in the fifth, only to see Colleton County push back in front with two runs in the bottom of the inning.

Drew Luckey’s one-out RBI double tied the game again in the sixth before Wallace cleared the bases with his triple. Wade Olivarri picked up the win with three innings of relief.
