High school softball result: Whale Branch at Battery Creek

Battery Creek 23, Whale Branch 0: Emily Crosby homered, tripled, drove home three runs and scored four as the Dolphins showcased some offensive fireworks.

Kelsey Hill also homered as part of a three-hit performance, while Michaux Gee also had three hits and drove home three runs.

Brooke Magoulick struck out seven Whale Branch batters in five innings of work, scattering four hits along the way. Nya Simmons and Tanashia Campbell collected two of the Warriors’ four hits.
