High school softball result: Battery Creek vs. Wade Hampton

Battery Creek 10, Wade Hampton 2: Kyleigh Peeples’ two-run single capped a four-run outburst in the first inning to set the Dolphins on course.

Emily Crosby and Kelsey Hill each singled twice in the Dolphins’ 10-hit attack, while Journeigh Doray doubled home two runs as part of a six-run fifth inning.

Alexis Ortiz struck out 10 Wade Hampton batters over six innings, scattering six hits along the way. Peeples pitched the final inning.
