High school golf result: Beaufort & Hilton Head Island boys at Dataw Island

Strong start for Seahawks: Hilton Head Island’s Charlie Farrell and Brooks Dyess shared low honors with 2-under-par 34s as the Seahawks cruised to victory over Beaufort in a dual match at Dataw Island.

Travis Mancill added a 2-over 38 for the Seahawks, whose team total of 147 was 21 shots better than Beaufort.

Tommy Holloway paced the Eagles with a 35, but no teammate was able to add another score in the 30s. Matthew Campbell came closest with a 40.
