High school lacrosse result: Hilton Head Island boys vs. Wando

Wando 16, Hilton Head Island 5: Duncan Marx tallied two goals but the Seahawks struggled to crack a strong Wando defense in the season’s first road contest.

Jack Flowers, Taylor Rozek and Kai Liska added one goal apiece for Hilton Head (1-1), and Will Frith turned in a solid performance by winning 18 of 23 faceoffs on the evening. Colin Courtney led the defense with eight ground balls and two takeaways.
