Patriot Partners looking for a few (more) good donors
The Patriot Partners outreach, now in its third year as part of the RBC Heritage presented by Boeing, is reaching out for new patrons to help meet an ambitious fundraising goal for 2016.
After handing over $21,000 last year to three military charities in the Lowcountry, organizers set a target to present each organization with $10,000 this year — or $30,000 in all.
Donations are divided evenly between Operation R&R, the Marine Corps Scholarship Fund and the Lowcountry Foundation for Wounded Military Heroes. Anyone who pledges at least $500 by March 15 will be listed as a Patriot Partner in the tournament's official spectator guide and in the Patriots' Outpost skybox.
This marks the seventh year of the Patriots' Outpost, offering active and retired military personnel and their families a special hospitality skybox alongside Harbour Town's 16th green. Patriot Partners was added as a fundraising arm in 2014.
The tournament also offers free admission to all active service members and their families. More information can be found at RBCHeritage.com or call Jack Wilson at 843-342-7840.
