SC native, former World No. 1 golfer commits to RBC Heritage
South Carolina native Dustin Johnson will be part of this year’s RBC Heritage on Harbour Town Golf Links again this season.
This year’s tournament is held April 13-19.
Johnson, the Irmo native and former Coastal Carolina standout, has been a Team RBC ambassaor since 2018. The former No. 1 has earned 20 victories on the PGA TOUR and was named 2016 PGA TOUR Player of the Year.
Johnson entered the final round of the 2019 RBC Heritage with a one-stroke lead but finished the day behind champion C.T. Pan. He is currently 5th on the Official World Golf Rankings and has two top-10 finishes in three events this season.
RBC ambassadors Bryson DeChambeau and Matt Fitzpatrick also will be competing in the event along with previously committed past Team RBC ambassadors Webb Simpson, Matt Kuchar, Graeme McDowell and Brandt Snedeker.
