Along with Harbour Town and tartan jackets, Coca-Cola has been part of the PGA Tour’s annual stop on Hilton Head Island since its 1969 beginning.

And with a new five-year extension, the beverage will be served into the second half-century of the RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing.

The new deal keeps Coca-Cola Consolidated as the tournament’s official non-alcoholic beverage provider through the 2021 event.

“We are proud to be associated with such an iconic brand,” tournament director Steve Wilmot said. “Their continued support for almost a half-century is unprecedented and has quenched the thirst of our loyal spectators and sponsors.”

In addition to providing beverages and recycling bins at Harbour Town, Coca-Cola also sponsors the Youth Day putting contest that takes place on Tuesday of tournament week.

The 49th Heritage will be contested April 13-16, with the traditional Monday opening ceremony set for April 10.
