Andrew Orischak back into match play at U.S. Junior

Andrew Orischak is back into the match-play segment of the U.S. Junior Amateur after carding a 1-over-par 73 on Tuesday to land squarely in the middle of the bracket.

The Hilton Head Island golfer began Tuesday on the bubble for the 64-man cut at The Honors Course outside Chattanooga, Tenn. Despite a bogey/double bogey stumble midway through his round, his two-day total of 4-over 148 left him in a tie for 36th.

Orischak, last year's runner-up on home turf at Colleton River Plantation, will begin his match-play path Wednesday against Joe Highsmith of Lakewood, Wash.

IJGA student Arjun Puri also made it to match play, carding a 76 on Tuesday to leave him in a tie for 47th. His opening opponent will be Cullen Brown of Paducah, Ky.
