Beaufort's Matthew Campbell finishes birdie-birdie to share win at SCJGA event

Beaufort's Matthew Campbell used a birdie-birdie finish to wrap up a back-nine 32 and share top honors at a South Carolina Junior Golf Association event at Calhoun Country Club.

Campbell made five birdies in all after the turn, completing a 1-under-par 70 that drew him even with Rock Hill's Nicholas Mayfield. There was no playoff.

Evan White (Hilton Head Island) tied for fourth, six shots off the pace.
