USC men’s golf earns spot in NCAA Championship in first year under coach Rob Bradley
Frankie Harris fired a 5-under-par 67 on Wednesday to tie for second individually and lead the South Carolina men’s golf team into the NCAA Championships for the first time since 2019.
The 20th-ranked Gamecocks, in their first season under coach Rob Bradley, placed fifth in the regional in Bremerton, Washington.
Nathan Franks finished at 1-under 71 Wednesday, and both Ismael Encinas and Zach Adams had 4-over 76s.
The top five teams in each of six regionals advance to the NCAA Championship tournament that begins May 23 in Carlsbad, California.
Eight-ranked Florida won the regional at 28 under par, three strokes better than fifth-ranked Arizona State. Colorado finished third and South Florida fourth.
