The unofficial start to spring is here.

It is Masters week at Augusta National Golf Club, when pars and pimento cheese blend together and create a tradition unlike any other. The 89th edition of golf’s first major begins on Thursday and will conclude on Sunday when someone slips on the green jacket.

Can Scottie Scheffler became the first to win back-to-back Masters since Tiger Woods? Can Rory McIlroy finally complete the career grand slam? Will someone from the LIV Tour — perhaps Jon Rahm or Bryson DeChambeau — conquer Augusta?

Let’s take a look at what the oddmakers think about the 2025 Masters.

Note: All betting odds current as of April 4 via Draft Kings:

Favorites

Scheffler is the betting favorite for the third-straight year after slipping on his second green jacket last April.

The 2022 and 2024 Masters champion is a 4-1 favorite to win. Somehow, those are his best odds heading into Augusta National despite what has been — by his standards — a subpar season. Scheffler has yet to win on the PGA Tour and has just three Top-10 finishes, down from seven pre-Masters Top-10s last year.

Behind Scheffler is McIlroy, who looks as sharp as ever and has already won twice this season. And based on the betting lines, oddsmakers think this Masters is a two-horse race because McIlroy is 6.5-1 and then the odds tail off.

Rahm is 13-1. Then a trio of Collin Morikawa, Ludvig Aberg and Xander Schauffele — who won two majors last year — are all 18-1.

Good value picks

Bryson DeChambeau (20-1): While he’s trying to become YouTube’s biggest golf star, it’s easy to forget that DeChambeau was in the final pairing on Saturday of last year’s Masters before finishing T-6. Perhaps that’s proof that he’s comfortable at Augusta and will continue to be in the hunt for a green jacket.

Will Zalatoris (45-1): We have been waiting for years for Zalatoris to break through and now he is 28 with no majors and just one career win. But Zalatoris has always played well at Augusta, finishing Top-10 or better in his three Masters appearances, including a T-9 last April. Perhaps this is his breakthrough week.

Min Woo Lee (55-1): The Australian jumped into the spotlight last month as a star of the Netflix series, “Full Swing.” Then, last week, he secured his first PGA Tour win, staving off Scheffler to win the Houston Open. He’s got plenty of momentum and belief heading into his fourth Masters.

Long shots

Robert MacIntyre (60-1): Making his first trip to Augusta National since 2022, the 28-year old Scot comes back to a place where he’s played well. He finished T-12 in his first Masters in 2021 and then checked in at T-23 the year after. Now back, the two-time PGA Tour winner might be able to have success this week.

Lucas Glover (120-1): Glover has never been great at Augusta National — his best finish is a T-20 (2007, 2024), but the Clemson alum has been playing great the last year. He won twice last August and already has three top-10 finishes in 2025 — highlighted by a T-3 at The Players.

Cameron Young (200-1): The 27-year old still doesn’t have a PGA Tour win but it’s hard to think he doesn’t have a chance this week considering his Augusta National track record. He finished T-7 in 2023 and followed that up with a T-9 last year, proving he can get himself into contention at the Masters.
