The South Carolina men’s and women’s basketball teams will prepare for the NCAA tournaments with selection show watch parties Sunday and Monday.

On Sunday, My Carolina Alumni Association will host a party for the USC men’s basketball team at the USC Alumni Center in downtown Columbia. Capacity is limited for the event, and fans should RSVP by visiting www.mycarolina.org/2016selectionshow.

Doors at the Alumni Center will open at 4:45 p.m., and the selection show starts at 5:30 p.m. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to watch the show alongside the Gamecocks staff and players. The Carolina band will also be on hand.

South Carolina (24-7, 11-7 SEC) is the No. 3 seed in this week’s SEC Tournament in Nashville and will play Georgia or Mississippi State at approximately 9:30 p.m. Friday.

On Monday, the USC women’s basketball team will hold a selection show party at Colonial Life Arena. Doors open at 5:45 p.m., and the event will feature various photo opportunities for fans, team competitions and a dance contest before the NCAA selection show begins at 7 p.m.

The first 800 fans will receive free popcorn. Fans are welcome to sit anywhere in sections 103-108, and concession stands will be open in those areas as well.

The No. 3 Gamecocks are 31-1 on the season after last weekend’s SEC tournament championship run. They are projected to be one of four No. 1 seeds and host first- and second-round games March 18-21.

All-session booklets for the first- and second-round games expected to be at Colonial Life Arena are on sale to the public now and range from $33 to $23. Single-game tickets will go on sale on Tuesday at 10 a.m. through TicketMaster.com.
