Beau Brown is Beaufort's connection to 14-0 Clemson team

The 14-0 Clemson football team has a Beaufort connection. Redshirt senior Beau Brown is a walk-on from Beaufort High School.

Brown played in last season’s Capitol One Bowl win over Oklahoma on special teams. Previously, the 6-foot, 195-pound reserve safety had played one snap in one game in one game against Maryland in 2012.

According to Clemson sports information director Tim Bourret, Brown has been injured this season and has not played.

An ACC Academic Honor Roll member in 2011, Brown is majoring in environmental engineering.
