South Carolina football landed its second commitment of the day Tuesday night.

Kentucky commitment Iveon Lewis flipped his pledge to Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks. Ridge View offensive lineman James Ross committed to USC earlier on Tuesday.

The Huguenot (Va.) High standout committed to the Wildcats on May 9, but South Carolina continued to recruit him. He took an official visit to USC over the weekend.

Lewis is the 11th commitment for the Class of 2027 and third receiver, joining DJ Huggins and Javien Robinson.

As a junior, Lewis caught 42 passes for 1,046 yards and 12 touchdowns. The 6-foot-2 receiver is rated as a four-star prospect by 247Sports Composite and On3/Rivals rankings.
