Coveted 5-star prospect Jordan Burch gives Clemson, USC one more look

Jordan Burch got one last look at Williams-Brice Stadium.

The Hammond defensive end and five-star prospect was in attendance for Saturday’s Clemson and South Carolina matchup. Those two schools are among the final five for the nation’s No. 2 recruit.

Burch will be making his college choice on Dec. 19. He also is considering LSU, Georgia and Alabama and has visited all five schools over the last several months.

Five of the six 247Sports crystal ball predictions are for Burch to Clemson with the other having going to USC. But a new prediction hasn’t been entered since June. The 6-foot-5, Burch has kept his recruiting quiet for the most part and hasn’t done many interviews.

Butch had a standout senior season and helped Hammond to its third straight SCISA Class 3A championship game. He had a pair of touchdowns in the 49-21 win over Laurence Manning.
