Well, here’s some news we can use from The Washington Post.

Post food columnist Cathy Barrow made her way through eight Savannah biscuit-dealers (really, just restaurants and bakeries ... but if I’m being real, biscuits are my drug) and has shared her findings in “In Savannah, a quest for the superlative buttermilk biscuit.”

After four disappointing biscuits, Barrow finally found a few that epitomized the South’s most simple and delicious treat (IMO). The best came from Back in the Day Bakery, which I have not been to yet but will soon be visiting for this very reason.

I’ve been trying to think of who has the best biscuit in Beaufort County, but I really don’t know. Can anyone help with that?
