Liz’s Notebook: Update on ‘Charleston Charm’ premiere
Last week I wrote about “Charleston Charm,” the pilot of which was set to air at noon March 20 on HGTV. The premiere date has been changed, though.
As of Friday, HGTV had not yet put it back on its schedule.
The show follows Krystine Edwards, who owns Krystine Edwards Real Estate and Design, and her husband, Ryan, and two kids, Channing and Cooper. In the pilot, the Edwardses help a couple from California find and renovate their dream home in Charleston.
If the pilot is well-received, the show will be picked up for more episodes.
On her blog, Krystine posted about the show in February, saying “I remember watching ‘Trading Spaces’ in college and wanting so badly to be a part of it. I always thought, I could do that. I want to do that. I’m going to try and do that. Fast forward 15 years and that dream is a reality.”
I know people in Beaufort County are big HGTV (and Charleston) fans, so I’ll post the new show time as soon as I hear.
