Calling all beardies and homeless faces for filming in Savannah

MorgueFile

Do you have the face of a homeless woman?

I’m not sure how to describe that any further, except to say that if you do have a face like a homeless woman — or a homeless man — you probably have suspected this about yourself for some time now.

If not, you might want to test the waters with friends.

Try saying “Ugh. I look homeless today!”

A cocked head or a microsecond delay in saying “No you don’t” both mean “Mmm-hmm, yeah you do. Everyone has been saying this for a while.”

And that’s good news ... assuming you want a little excitement in your life.

Chad Darnell Casting is seeking background actors for four movies filming in Savannah. And there are some very specific types they need.

Maybe one of them describes you.

For the movie “Lizzie” (about Lizzie Borden, who killed her parents with 40 ax-whacks!), starring Kristen Stewart and Chloe Sevigny, casting agents are looking for:

▪  Thin men with beards.

▪  Thin men with goatees that they’re OK with having shaved into super-sweet mustaches.

▪  Men with tuxes or tuxes and tails.

▪  Women sizes 0-14 with shoulder-length hair or longer that has not been color-treated. (Think of how much better Lizzie Borden would’ve felt about life had highlights and a blowout been an option for her.)

For the movie “Divorce Party,” starring people I don’t know, casting agents are looking for:

▪  Attractive men ages 20-30.

▪  An Indian man to play a waiter.

For the (described as hilarious) movie “In An L.A. Minute,” starring Gabriel Byrne, casting agents are looking for:

▪  Skilled chefs and sous chefs.

▪  People with a case of homeless face (men, women, beards on either). If you’re applying for this one, you’re asked to take a picture of yourself in “drab, dirty, old, worn-out clothes” to really show you understand the role.

▪  People-y people that look like no one.

For the movie “Misfortune,” starring John Cusack (CALL ME WHEN YOU’RE IN TOWN, LLOYD DOBLER!), casting agents are looking for:

▪  Experienced kayakers with their own gear.

▪  Campers with their own equipment.

Apply for each role separately by emailing three recent photos to CDCExtrasCasting@gmail.com. Include your name, email, phone number, city you live in and all clothes sizes and measurements.
