Stop what you’re doing. Who knew ‘Scandal’ star Scott Foley was in Bluffton?

Celebrity sighting in Bluffton?

In the words of Olivia Pope ... it’s handled.

The Town of Bluffton Government posted a photo on its Facebook page Tuesday morning of actor Scott Foley, who plays Jake Ballard in “Scandal,” outside of Scott’s Meats in Old Town and wearing a Scott’s Meats hat.

The photo was taken this weekend by Foley, who posted it on his Instagram with the caption, “Because it had to be done. And yes, I bought the hat. #solotoadtrip#somewhereinthesouth.”

(I think he means “road trip” ... though a solo toad trip is also a thing. It just involves much smaller suitcases and that Scott’s Meats hat never would have fit.)

Anyway, if you weren’t Team Jake before, it’s time to make that switch because I don’t see President Fitzgerald Grant hanging out in Bluffton and calling us “somewhere in the south.”

Though I guess it is Election Day ...
