Jumps like a cat: Eddy the Hilton Head beach dog
Eddy isn’t our most coordinated dog, but he’s electric when it counts.
When the camera came out, he turned a quiet game of toss into a circus act this week on a Hilton Head Island beach.
On the other hand, people come to the beach to chill, even glide into free yoga.
As for the dogs, you need to know the beach rules.
Eddy can jump like a cat, but timing the jump is the trick for Eddy.
He’s a 1-year-old Australian cattle dog — a blue heeler.
His sister, Shasta, is the real acrobat. She never misses.
Eddy is from northern California, near Mount Eddy, and Mount Shasta.
But all he needed was a Salty Dog bandana to be a pure Hilton Head dog in this rare picture that we will always treasure.
