Letter: Expand the special church event
Why should the wonderful “By Our Love” event Sunday at Tabernacle Baptist be limited to four churches — two traditionally black, two traditionally white — and only in the Beaufort area, and only on a one-time basis? The path to racial justice, reconciliation, harmony, and understanding leads through traditional black and white churches coming together to work toward those ends together. It’s a beginning that should be built on in Beaufort, in South Carolina, and all across our nation.
