Letter: Criticism of Obama not factual
A recent rant about President Obama, as usual, overlooks or ignores the facts.
As far as Iraq/Afghanistan, I seem to recall a fellow named Bush got us into that mess. As far as the labor participation rate, it is 62 percent, if you count every person over 16 as looking for work. My friend in Sun City who is over 100, denies looking for work.
Federal budgets must be passed by Congress, not president. Congress has been controlled fully or in part during the past eight years by Republicans. As a reminder, the recession started in 2008, before Obama took office. He inherited a mess, but is blamed for not solving it fast enough. Go figure.
