Letter: Bluffton urbanization is a shame
Your recent story about the new flyover on U.S. 278 was a depressing wake-up call. I should have seen it coming.
Increasing traffic on the poorly-designed Bluffton Parkway provides a great opportunity for elected officials and developers (often the same people) to put their heads together and plan the continuation of over-development of this formerly delightful community.
It’s happening all across America, and I’ve been observing it in the Bluffton area for the 20 years I have been here. Next we’ll hear how the increased tax revenues will be a blessing.
Urbanization is a crime against nature.
