Letter: Communist goals for US look familiar
In 1963, the Communist Party set goals to take over America.
1) Weaken American institutions, claiming civil rights violations; 2) foment public protests; 3) infiltrate the press, TV and motion pictures; 4) eliminate obscenity laws — promote pornography, homosexuality, etc.; 5) discredit religion and the Founding Fathers; 6) discourage the teaching of American history.
This is a partial list, which is listed in the congressional record. Did the Communist Party achieve its goals?
