Letter: Obama’s reaction to terrorism delusional

“I’d like to build the world a home and furnish it with love, grow apple trees and honey bees and snow white turtle doves.”

It seems that the sentiments and silly drivel contained in a syrupy song of the flower-child era has now become the Justice Department’s solution to Islamic terrorism.

In a monumental display of delusional liberal logic, the attorney general of the United States declared that “the most effective weapon against terrorism is compassion, unity and love.”

Presumably, in the alternative universe and dream world inhabited by the Obama administration, all that is necessary to eliminate terrorism from the planet is to offer a collective hug to ISIS, sing a chorus of “Give Peace A Chance” andOb “We Are The World” and invite the terrorists to walk hand in hand through the looking glass into Wonderland for tea and scones with the White Rabbit.

Given the failed policies of the Obama administration on terror, the inescapable conclusion is that the administration is not simply inept, incompetent, and utterly removed from reality, but are, in fact, as dangerous to the American public as the Islamic terrorists themselves.
