Letter: Quit pretending Muslims not a problem
The “Thing With No Name” has declared war against our country and Western culture in general. It wants us to submit to its will or die. It’s as simple as that.
It is terrifying in its goals, but our president, his anointed successor, and the other liberal/progressives insist that it doesn’t exist. We are told that we are being attacked by “homegrown” terrorists, and in large part I agree. The question is, what homes did they grow up in, and where did their parents come from?
Answer? Muslim homes, with parents who were born in Muslim countries. Virtually none of the mass murderers were from any of the world’s other religions. They were Muslims. Pretending this isn’t so is ludicrous in the extreme.
We can agree that all followers of Islam are not violent and dangerous to their neighbors. However, we must also closely examine the Muslim faith and the Quran to determine why, of all the religions existing in the 21st century, a significant minority of the followers of Islam are engaging in these violent acts against humanity.
The answer is simple. The Quran, written by one man, Mohammad, instructs them to do so. As a result, redacting any references to the radical forces of Islam from the news stories, or indeed from the training manuals used by our military, law enforcement and Department of Homeland Security, is not only incredibly naive, it is incredibly dangerous.
Pretending something isn’t there doesn’t make it go away.
