Letter: Vietnam vets are my heroes
I recently spoke with a man in a resurant who was wearing a Vietnam Veteran hat. I told him, “Thank you for all that he did over there” and I also told him my dad fought in the Vietnam War.
After I left, I realized that I had forgotten to tell him something that I wasn't able to tell my own father because he died of war-related problems — You are my Hero. All of the men who fought in the war that is not respected, I'm proud to call you my hero.
