Letter: Donald Trump isn’t presidential material

Donald Trump is not fit or capable to hold any elected office at any level of government. He degrades and insults women, blacks, Mexicans, the afflicted, former prisoners of war, Hispanics, foreign governments and he has the ignorance and nerve to cowardly threaten a federal judge. He is a spoiled brat who was handed everything on a silver platter — an individual who could not care less about anyone except himself. He is a racist, a bigot and certainly not a decent human being.

What is amusing is when he utters yet another stupid racist comment, or insults and degrades another human being, his supporters say ‘Well, that is just Donald being Donald.’ And they are right. He is not acting. It is Donald being the bigoted, ignorant spoiled brat that we see on TV.

And when his supporters comment that he is saying what people want to hear, they are also right. He is saying what some Republicans want to hear but who have the common sense not to utter those ignorant racial insults and slurs themselves. That’s even though a number of those Republicans may also foster the same thoughts, words and racist beliefs.

Those same Trump supporters make unfounded, stupid, ignorant comments about Hillary Clinton while they themselves support an individual who does not have the intelligence, temperament, experience, and common sense to hold any elected office let alone be president of the United States. Will South Carolina show its true colors and vote yet again for the Donald?
