Letter: Bathrooms not a federal issue
For the last 60-plus years, I have been using public toilets and never knew if I was sharing it with any LGBT person. It never was any kind of a problem.
LGBT people I suspect have always been here. While it may have been more difficult for them, the world seems to have held together. Life is full of challenges.
Do we really need Washington to make bathrooms a federal issue?
Take care of the reason you are there and get back to work. It’s common sense.
Try convincing those nuns I had in grammar school it’s OK for boys to use the girls’ toilet.
Don’t you think we can deal with this manufactured issue on our own? We don’t need any more regulations from Washington that come with the threat of financial punishment if we don’t agree.
