Letter: Bluffton schools get it right
As our third and final child graduated last week from Bluffton High School, we would like to offer a huge debt of gratitude to all of the teachers in the Bluffton public schools.
From kindergarten at M.C. Riley through Bluffton Middle School, McCracken and Bluffton High School, we could not have been more blessed to have such wonderful and gifted teachers and administrative staff caring for and teaching all three of our children.
With so many negative issues surrounding the world right now, it is a rarity to be able to pause and give thanks and praise to those who are on the front lines raising up, teaching and truly caring for our children.
Most people in our community really do not know how amazing our public school system is here. Bluffton High School was recently named the seventh best high school in the state. The curriculum that is offered from elementary education to college-level studies is truly outstanding.
We saw an amazing show of love and community in the past two weeks upon losing one dearly loved eighth-grade student, Grace Sulak. The teachers, coaches, staff and administrators were all surrounding the kids with genuine love and support.
Teachers have huge jobs in what is brought before them each and every day, and we want to share a huge debt of thanks to all.
With very grateful hearts and praises to the teachers and staff for your care and gifts in teaching our children.
