Letter: Trump the counterpunch America needs

Donald Trump is the first candidate in several generations who can simultaneously speak extemporaneously, engage the common man, and present fundamental ideas about America and its place in the world, economics, finances and how all that relates to military strength — all while controlling the conversation in modern media rather than yielding to the Fourth Estate.

You may not like his style, but it is difficult to deny his success.

Politics is a cheap, dirty, mudslinging game. We are amateurs playing against lifelong professionals. You should have noticed by now that Trump never starts the food fight. He is a counterpuncher. He always finishes it. This is instructive to both our enemies and our “friends.”

The Democrats, media, government, United Nations, Soros, etc., don’t play nice, don’t play fair, and to this point have controlled the discussion. They would destroy what is America from within.

We elected a bunch of nice guys and they didn’t get the job done. If we ever hear from another Bush, Romney, Clinton, McCain, Obama, Biden, Reid, McConnell, Pelosi, Schumer, etc., again there will be a revolution. Trump is the beginning of the end of all of them. Obama will be forgotten like a nightmare. The earth is shaking ... the Trump train is moving.
