Letter: Beaufort plan must be for artists only

Beaufort’s “Arts Overlay District” is being marketed as a live/work arrangement for artists.

This is misleading because the program has no requirements mandating ownership or occupancy of these small homes solely by “artists.”

If Beaufort expects an economic boost from its “tiny house” artists colony, it needs to restrict the program to artists only.
