Letter: Put rumble strip down the middle

I don’t know if there are any roads in this area with the rumble strip down the middle, but I think we should have them on all two-lane roads.

If drivers won’t stop texting while driving, we need something to let them know that they are coming over into my lane.

The texting crash is much worse than just accidents. In most accidents, the driver is aware they are in trouble and applies some breaking and avoidance moves. With texting, it is bad. There is no braking involved and the impact is severe.

The center rumble strip would save lives and I don’t think it is too costly.
