Letter: Everything wrong with Moss
The facts:
Beaufort County School District Superintendent Jeff Moss changed the rules regarding nepotism.
His wife is hired, allegedly without his knowledge.
Once the hire becomes public knowledge, she resigns.
The school board sees nothing wrong with this scenario.
A private citizen files a complaint in September with the South Carolina (Un) Ethics Commission, which results in a notice for Moss to appear in August for a hearing, which will be closed to the public without his personal approval.
What’s wrong with this picture but everything?
