Letter: Who do you trust to manage tax dollars?

In 2010, the Veterans Administration began a $600 million project in Aurora, Colo., to construct a hospital that was scheduled to be completed in 2014.

After numerous delays, changes and lawsuits, the project is now estimated to cost $1.73 billion and is scheduled to be completed in 2018.

This is a classic example of the federal government’s mismanagement of taxpayers’ dollars.

Of the remaining candidates running for president, who do you trust to manage the taxes that 50 percent of American income earners pay to the federal government each year?
