Letter: Trump strikes fear into terrorists
More than a few times I have heard the question: “Who could vote for Trump?”
I am not political. I like to think for myself. But I know one reason why Trumpism is rampant.
Trump is the one candidate who strikes fear into terrorists.
He might not be the smoothest, bought-and-paid-for candidate. He might not be of the most policy-driven mind. But one thing is as sure as it was when President Reagan came to Washington. He is a live gun. Refer to Iran.
Whether combating terrorism with a nonconforming statesman is the correct course will be up for debate and we will not know the answer until we try it out. But clearly what our government is doing now is not working, and to continue the same is insane.
So, why do folks vote for Trump? His insanity is a new brand that just might work on the world’s biggest threat.
