Letter: You can’t beautify a very ugly problem
Beautifying the roundabout on Bluffton Parkway may be nice, but it ignores the greater problem of wrecks and fenderbenders that occur within this traffic circle/roundabout almost daily.
I think this is another case of misplaced priorities.
I have resided here for four years and have witnessed at least 10 to 12 accidents within the confines of this roundabout and I am retired and do not drive that much. Ignoring the issue by adding plants to the middle will only serve to beautify a very ugly problem in our community.
With the opening of the new “flyover,” the issues there will only increase. Let’s get our priorities right and get this fixed.
