Letter: GOP loves to blame but fails to work

Sen. Mitch McConnell emphatically ruled out any Senate action on whoever our president nominates for Supreme Court justice.

This is further proof that the Republicans are only good at obstructionism. He vowed the same idea at the beginning of Obama’s first term. Is it ironic that the the Republicans have the majority in both houses and have succeeded in becoming the most dysfunctional Congress ever? Isn’t their disapproval rating over 80 percent?

They would rather play middle school, childish games than discuss issues. They love to blame, but fail to work. Why not follow decades of existing precedent? Have the public hearing/questioning and send it to the full Senate.
